Physical Description: Eeltari stand anywhere from 5'6 to 6'5 feet tall. Their hair color varies just as human hair would and their eyes are always a single color that ranges from pure green to pure violet or red. They look just like a Alerian human with the exception of their Eyes, which seem to to be luminous in nature, having a glossy texture to them (think anime eyes)

The internal structure of a Eeltari is wholly alien to anything else on this world. Their organs are smaller than most creatures and seem to possess two hearts, and when injured, a Eeltari bleeds a bright blue blood. though Eeltari can eat meat they rarely do so, preferring to eat the internal organs of livestock and boiled animal fat (They have a fancy for steamed pig intestines), his tends to work out perfectly for most butcher shops seeing a profit out of the parts they usually dispose of by selling them to Eeltari. They also have a sweet tooth, seeking out desserts before any other sort of meal this has lead to some of the most odd dishes to ever be created specifically, one called the Tarilin which is just a doughnut the size of a hamburger filled with boiled pig intestines. Despite this seemingly poor diet, Eeltari cannot become overweight.

Society Eeltari are very close to their family. If one member of their family needs something, they will go through great personal sacrifice to get it. In many ways, Eeltari are a very sensitive people. They focus greatly on emotion and feelings rather than power or glory.

Perhaps it is these traits that led them to become a matriarchal society. Women are the leaders and the directors; even among their neighborhoods in cities, there is always one elder female that speaks for that particular community. Despite this balance of power, male and female roles have a blurry line. Both become hunters, priests, gatherers, child caretakers, and so on. With the exception of leadership, rolls seem to be divvied up more by skill and preference than by gender.

Relations: Eeltari get along well with all races, but are especially close To Humans especially those of Alerian Descent due to them having evolved to look like them. Most races view Eeltari favorably, and some even view them as valuable assets that need to be invested in. Elves are the only race that seems reluctant to show kinship, citing that the inspiration of an Eeltari is both artificial and ephemeral. They are often students of culture; learning the language and customs of a race to better interact. Their accommodating demeanor grants them acceptance by most races.

Alignment and Religion: Eeltari are generally selfless creatures. This paints the picture of a benevolent being, capable of only kindness, generosity, and compassion. While the majority seems to fit that image, malevolent Eeltari do exist. Regardless of their alignment, almost all Eeltari refuse to deal with evil from the abyss, especially demons. Eeltaris can be of any and all religions, serving as aids to the paragons of those religions and their values.

Adventurers: Eeltari, like humans, tend to go on adventuring for various reasons, but rarely is it for the thrill of the danger or adventure.

Racial Benefits
Ability Bonus:+2 Intelligence Eeltari are almost universally intelligent and eager to learn. As a result, Eeltari gain a +2 bonus to Intelligence.
Sexual Dimorphism: Male and female Eeltari have very different body types, more so than most humanoid species. Male Eeltari are muscular (+2 Strength) and often unobservant (–2 Wisdom). Female Eeltari, though beautiful and extremely social (+2 Charisma), lacks the males' rugged builds (–2 Constitution).
Medium: Eeltari are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Type: Eeltari are Humanoids with the Eeltari subtype.
Normal Speed: Eeltari have a base speed of 30 feet
Diplomat: Eeltari receive +2 to Diplomacy.
Gifted Linguist (Ex): Eeltari don't have accents when they speak other languages, Eeeltari gain a +4 racial bonus on Linguistics checks, and learn two languages each time they gain a rank in Linguistics instead of just a single language. (Homebrew limit still applies)
Limited Telepathy: An Eeltari is able to mentally communicate with any creature within 30 feet with whom she shares a language. The creature must have a min intelligence score of 3, They may only speak with one creature at a time, Unless the creature has telepathy themselves this only applies one way.
Languages: Eeltari speak Common and D'ziriak. Eeltari with high Intelligence scores can choose Any human language. See the Linguistics skill page for more information about these languages. The bonus languages are not retroactive if you increase your Intelligence score.

Born under the Stranger: When feinting against aberrations, you do not take a –4 penalty for feinting against a non-humanoid creature, and you take only a –4 penalty if you feint against an aberration of animal Intelligence instead of –8). You still cannot feint against mindless creatures.

Skilled Telepath: The range of your limited telepathy racial ability increases by 5 feet.

Male alternate racial benefits

Fearless: Some male Eeltari lack the ability to use limited telepathy, however, its this lack of mental communication that gives them a stronger mettle They receive a gain a +2 racial bonus on all saving throws against fear effects. This replaces limited telepathy

Stability: Male Eeltari are often used to act as guards and protectors for their kind, these males receive a +4 racial bonus to their CMD when resisting bull rush or trip attempts while standing on the ground. This racial benefit replaces Diplomat and linguist.

Female Alternate Racial benefits

Resistant: Females that lack the ability to use limited telepathy tend to have a stronger mental defense against manipulation. they receive a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting effects, this replaces limited telepathy

Sociable: Some females tend to be extremely sociable overall, When female Eeltari attempt to change a creature's attitude with a Diplomacy check and fail by 5 or more, they can try to influence the creature a second time even if 24 hours have not passed this ability replaces Linguist and diplomacy.


Child of the Maelstrom: Some eeltari still maintain their ancestral understanding and instincts from the outerplanes, Treat their wisdom, charisma and intelligence score as two times higher for the purposes of determining their sanity score. This replaces limited telepathy and gifted linguist.

Gregarious: Whether is done intentionally or innocently, When Eeltari use Diplomacy to win over an individual, that creature takes a –2 penalty on attempts to resist any Charisma-based skills for the next 24 hours from them This replaces Linguist.

Educated: Some Eeltari tend to have a higher level of understanding when it comes to specific topics than most they receive a +2 racial bonus to one Knowledge skill, this replaces Diplomacy.


Eeltari in the western Kingdoms: Eeltari in the western kingdoms mostly live in Aleris either in their own villages or living in the larger cities such as Aria, however, they can be found in other areas of the kingdoms also just not in such large numbers.

Eeltari in Calari: Eeltari can be found anywhere in Calari, some even live among the orcs and beastfolk tribes, further proving the Eeltari's amazing ability to be able to integrate themselves into any culture.
