Half Fiend

A half-fiend is the direct offspring of an evil outsider and a mortal; children of a half-fiend may be tieflings or seemingly normal mortals.

In the Xilrin campaign setting, Half Fiends Use The template graft from the unchained rules, not an actual template. This is done intentionally so they remain at a CR where they can play with others and not trivialized (or its kept at a very low minimum).

A Half Fiend graft is added to any Existing creature and receive the following:

Automatic Racial Benefits

  • Immunity to Poison
  • Energy resistance 10 (acid, cold, electricity, and fire)
  • Change Shape (Su) A Half Fiend can assume the appearance of a specific single Form form of the same sex and their non Fiend parent's race. The Half Fiend always takes this specific form when she uses this ability. A Half Fiend gains a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks made to appear Like their non-Fiendish Parent's race. This ability otherwise functions as alter self, except that the Half Fiend l does not adjust her ability scores.
  • Spell-Like Abiliy: A Half Fiend may select one of the following spells as a spell like ability once a day, Bane, Darkness and Protection from Good These are charisma based.
  • A half fiend receives 2 claws and a bite damage based on size
