The lupin clan also has various subtypes within them called tribes. They are the Wolf, Fox, and Jackal tribes.

Note: No hyenas, no domestic dogs such as pugs, collies etc. The only tribes mentioned are the only ones that exist.

Society: In society, Lupin are known for their fortitude and cunning making them ideal hunters and gatherers for markets or isolated contractors. The Lupin are popular for their loyalty and work ethic; rarely aggressive, most Lupin are good-natured and have come to be accepted as one of the friendlier races in Xilrin.

Relations: As friendly as the Lupin may be, there are always exceptions to the rules and aggressive behavior is sometimes found in the more primitive Lupin. In normal circumstance, Lupin are generally indifferent concerning the affairs and matters of other races keeping to their own business. The downside to the Lupin is, of course, its pride, resulting, sometimes, in a very stubborn Lupin. A Lupin provides its loyalty on its own terms and rarely accepts forceful treatment. Poor treatment of any Lupin may prove deadly as Lupin have a tendency of hunting in packs. Provoking one may soon become hundreds. Lupin don't care for cities and prefer settlements no larger than a small town.
